Role Description

As a MERN Stack Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You’ll collaborate with a team of developers and designers to deliver seamless and scalable solutions tailored to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Collaborate with designers to transform wireframes and mockups into responsive, functional web applications.
  • Write clean, modular, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs to support application functionality.
  • Build and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth functionality.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in web development and the MERN ecosystem.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with the MERN stack.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  • Core Skills:
    • Proficiency in React.js for front-end development.
    • Strong understanding of Node.js and Express.js for back-end development.
    • Experience with MongoDB and database design.
    • Familiarity with RESTful API creation and integration.
    • Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and its ecosystem.
    • Experience with version control tools like Git/GitHub.
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Heroku is a plus.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving ability, communication skills, and team collaboration.
  • Preferred: Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period.
